The vision statement of the World as One Family emanates from the below-mentioned Upanishadic verse.

ayam bandhurayaneti ganana laghuchetasam
udaracharitanam tu vasudhaiv kutumbakam ?

The very idea that this one is mine and this one is not mine is of narrow-minded persons. For those broad minded the whole world is one family.
